TIA568 Wiring Standards

How to decide which wiring pattern to use:

1. Does the job specification call out a wiring pattern?
2. Does the customer/end user have a preference for T568A or T568B?
3. Have patch panels already been purchased for the job? If so, they will probably be either T568A or T568B. The jacks should be wired to the same pattern as the panels.
4. Are you adding on to an existing wiring plant? If so, your new wiring should match the existing wiring.

If none of the factors above apply, either T568A or T568B may be used. It is important to ensure that the workstation connectors and the patch panels are wired to the same pattern. T568B is commonly used in commercial installations, while T568A is prevalent in residential installations.

AA120M 120 Watt Six Input Mixer Amplifier w/ Module Input

Atlas AA120M 120 Watt Six Input Mixer Amplifier w/ Module Input

Atlas Sound's AA120M is possibly the most versatile mixer/amplifier on the market today.

True 3 zone matrixing (main 120W output, 1W output and line level output), 24VDC output with relay sync to the mute bus, bridge in/out with built-in relay control, (1) industry standard module input with direct to mix bus or direct to amp assignment, global or BGM input VCA control and multiple mute bus configuration options round out the unit’s extensive feature set.

The AA120M is ideal for applications like sound masking, industrial paging, retail and BGM, commercial PA, priority volume control applications and hotel ballrooms/meeting rooms just to name a few.

Features:

  • Channel 2-4 and 6 can be configured for mute receive or mute send
  • Module input features mix bus or "amp direct" routing (Perfect for sound masking as masking source is not affected by front panel EQ settings and treble control can be used for adding HF to page in masking systems)
  • 4 Mic/Line inputs
  • 1 Stereo line (BGM) input
  • 1 Module input
  • Input trim control per channel
  • Separate zone 2/3 Matrix per channel
  • Vox mute and contact closure mute may be assigned separately for “quasi” dual level mute priority via internal jumpers
  • VCA control assignable to CH5 BGM input or main mix bus
  • Bridge I/O with relay like AA120/AA240
  • Zone 2 / 3 output (line level and 1W 8ohms)
  • 24VDC output and patchable relay assignable to CC or Vox mute circuit (allows use of Atlas priority attenuators without any additional hardware)
