TIA568 Wiring Standards

How to decide which wiring pattern to use:

1. Does the job specification call out a wiring pattern?
2. Does the customer/end user have a preference for T568A or T568B?
3. Have patch panels already been purchased for the job? If so, they will probably be either T568A or T568B. The jacks should be wired to the same pattern as the panels.
4. Are you adding on to an existing wiring plant? If so, your new wiring should match the existing wiring.

If none of the factors above apply, either T568A or T568B may be used. It is important to ensure that the workstation connectors and the patch panels are wired to the same pattern. T568B is commonly used in commercial installations, while T568A is prevalent in residential installations.

CP700 High-Performance, Dual-Channel, Commercial Audio Amplifier

Atlas CP700 High-Performance, Dual-Channel, Commercial Audio Amplifier

A professional grade audio power amplifier specifically designed for demanding contractor applications, the CP700 features esoteric grade toroidal power supply and output transformers. These transformers were chosen for their outstanding reliability as well as extended frequency response (-3dB @ 30Hz - 70.7V output through transformer) Now you can have the peace of mind that systems specified with the CP700 will have true transformer output isolation, a feature that previously may have not been affordable due to the cost of quality external transformers.

CP700's two independent channels ensure maximum channel separation and ultra low distortion figures while providing years of faithful service.

Whether your application is a large distributed constant voltage sound system or a high SPL sound reinforcement system, the Atlas Sound CP700 is the perfect answer for high power/low cost amplification needs.

Features:

  • Soft clip limiter protection
  • Dual-speed, high efficiency fan cooling
  • Stepped attenuators mounted on the rear for security
  • Stereo, bridge, or parallel operating modes selectable via rear mounted switch
  • Balanced inputs on barrier strip and XLR connectors
  • Loop through feature on male XLRs, one per channel input
  • Short-circuit, temperature, and DC offset protection
  • 25V, 70.7V, 100V, and direct coupled (2,4, and 8 Ohm) outputs mounted on barrier strips with covers for safety
  • Toroidal output transformers provide full electrical isolation and meet worldwide safety agency approval
  • Power-up muting
